What an emotional roller coaster ride this book took me on. So many things I forgot, so many things to remember. Not only is it a real reaction to the events we encountered but a glimpse into the mental anguish we all had to contend with and learn to accept and endure. It touches on the tremendous sense of loyalty and companionship that carried us through that maze of hell-the guys around you were your family and the only ones who could understand what you were going through.
